About the Executive Board
The Executive Board of the Georgia Theta Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon consists of seven members. Each officer on the Executive Board is elected for a one year term that begins in November of the academic year that they are elected in. The elections are decided with a majority decision rule, with a candidate requiring at least 2/3 of votes to be elected into the position. Members serving on the Executive Board are expected to contribute more than the rest of the chapter, as they are chosen by the Chapter-At-Large to lead the chapter and determine the direction that the chapter develops into.
The Executive Board meets once a week to discuss fraternity matters that require the attention of the chapter's highest officers. Aside from these meetings, many of the officers hold weekly cabinet meetings with appointed chairs that fall under their position. Each of these meetings are used to discuss important matters from each of the chapter's committees in order to relay important information to the Executive Board and the Chapter-At-Large.
